eClare has been a freelance illustrator working in the publishing industry for over 20 years. She is always happiest when using her imagination and creativity to answer any brief that comes her way. Based in her studio at home in the beautiful city of Salisbury, she creates designs for greeting cards, children’s books, colouring books for adults, calendars, editorial illustration for magazines and ceramics. Children’s books are her biggest passion though and she loves to bring to life the characters in a story giving them all their own unique personality.

Clare starts creating her art in a traditional way with watercolours or pastels and then scans them in and enhances them digitally to perfect them.

She has worked for an impressive list of clients including WHSmith. UK Greetings, Igloo Books, Templar Publishing, American Greetings, Dunoon, The Almanac Gallery, Card Factory and many more. For Full Media, Clare has illustrated two books by Jocelyn Porter in the Katharine Baker series: Three Times Round the Corkscrew Tree and A Magical Moonglow Sleepover.
