Leo Brown has been a creative illustrator/storyteller for more than 30 years, with a focus on children’s books, conceptual art and toy design. He creates high-quality original artworks both traditionally and digitally.

Leo’s roster of clients is impressive, including big names such as Disney and Roald Dahl among others (check out his website  leobrownstudios.com to see who else he has worked with). 

There are many illustrators that have inspired Leo over the years, such as Arthur Rackham, Edmund Dulac, Norman Rockwell, Ronald Embleton, Scott Gustafson, Peter de Seve and Carter Goodrich. 

Born and bred in the beautiful countryside of Lancashire in the North West of England, Leo loves this part of the country. It influenced the likes of J.R.R. Tolkien and Sir Arthur Conan Doyle and never ceases to inspire Leo too.

As well as being an accomplished artist, Leo has written a book. Stargazers tells the story of a gnome called Elmore who, with the help of his two friends, saves the human race from evils that dwell in the darkest corners of the Faerie Kingdom.
