Michael S Kane
Working under the pseudonym Shaky Kane, Michael became a firm fixture on the UK comics scene during the early 1990s.
His comic book illustration work was published in a host of publications including 2000 AD, Judge Dredd The Megazine, Revolver and the influential monthly title Deadline, spiritual home to the pop culture icon Tank Girl.
Relocating to Devon towards the end of the decade, Michael took a hiatus from sequential illustration, trying his hand at younger children’s titles, before returning in more recent years to illustrate the acclaimed series The Bulletproof Coffin working with writer David Hine, That’s Because You’re A Robot with award-winning writer David Quantick and the oversized anthology title Kane And Able, all published by US-based publisher Image Comics.
His first children’s book for Full Media as Michael S Kane is The King Who Didn’t Like Snow by Jocelyn Porter.
