Nick Jones is an award-winning children’s author from Bristol. He is also an editor, proofreader, publisher and owner of Full Media. His debut picture book, Sarah’s Shadow, illustrated by Si Clark, was released in December 2017 and won a string of awards in 2018, most notably Best Picture Book on the US book review website Readers’ Favorite. 

In December 2020, his second picture book One Night in Beartown (also illustrated by Si Clark) was published and has received critical acclaim from book bloggers such as Linda Hill, who said: “One Night In Beartown is a glorious book that deserves to be snapped up by a production company and turned into a Christmas tradition along with those well known animations of books by Raymond Briggs or Julia Donaldson.”

In December 2021 he published his third collaboration with Si Clark: One Christmas in Beartown. In January 2022 his fourth picture book, Franklyn – No Ordinary Fox, was published, and he plans to publish two more picture books in 2023: Snailish, illustrated by Leo Brown, and Halloween in Beartown, illustrated once again by Si Clark.
