Olena Osadcha is a Ukrainian illustrator based in Kiev. She is passionate about design and has a particular interest and love for children’s book illustration. Award-winning author Emma Sandford was drawn to Olena’s magical style and has commissioned her to illustrate the Sumatran Trilogy, a series of children’s picture books set in the Sumatran rainforest. The three titles are The Problem with Poppy, What’s Troubling Tawny? and Hooray for Heidi (to be published).
