Read For Good
For children in hospital, books and stories are vital – they comfort, reassure, distract and entertain. Read for Good provides a regular supply of brand new books and resident Storyteller visits to brighten the days of children in all 30 of the UK’s major children’s hospitals. Full Media provide boxes of brand-new titles to Read for Good, who then distribute them to hospitals across the UK.
Rainforest Trust UK
Full Media Ltd are proud to be a Friend of Rainforest Trust UK, a British charity working in partnership with Rainforest Trust in the U.S. protect the world’s most threatened rainforests and other tropical ecosystems. We donate £1 per book sale of our Sumatran Trilogy books by Emma Sandford to the charity, who then use it to save the rainforests and the animals that inhabit them.
Visyon
Full Media Ltd collaborate regularly with Visyon, a charity that supports the emotional health of children, young people and their families in the Cheshire East and Staffordshire Moorlands areas. We do joint events with Visyon and support them wherever possible.
Hospital Radio Plymouth
Hospital Radio Plymouth is a hospital radio station based in Plymouth, England. Run as a charity staffed by volunteers, it provides entertainment to the patients of Derrisford Hospital and The Royal Eye Infirmary, broadcasting via Hospedia and on 87.7fm. The station holds a long term restricted service licence granted by Ofcome, allowing it to broadcast on FM. We will be donating a percentage of our profits from The King Who Didn’t Like Snow to the radio station.
Cornish Seal Sanctuary
The Cornish Seal Sanctuary is a charity based in Gweek, Cornwall. Run by Sea Life Trust, the sanctuary rescues and rehabilitates grey seal pups from around the Cornish coastline. Full Media are proud to be partner with the Sanctuary and we will be donating £1 per book sale of our upcoming publication, Finn & Fred’s Arctic Adventure by Plymouth author Jocelyn Porter, to the charity.
Ykids
YKids is a charity based in Bootle, Liverpool, that works to create transfomation for children, young people and families. As patrons for Ykids, Full Media are proud to provide support in the form of free author visits to schools. We will also be working with Kingsley & Co, a literacy project of Ykids. NMC Design+Print is a social enterprise that forms part of the Neuromuscular Centre in Winsford, Cheshire.
