Illustrated by the ever-prolific Cornwall-based artist Sarah-Leigh Wills, The Girl in the Dickie Bow tells the story of a little girl who dreams of wearing a suit and dickie bow to an upcoming wedding. Her mother has other ideas, and over the course of this gorgeous rhyming tale we see a mother’s journey of acceptance towards her beloved child. It is a truly touching story that is beautifully told through Wills’ pictures and Satchell-Foley’s words, and we are sure that it will be a popular book among children and parents alike!
