On 3 March at 23:30, just 30 minutes before World Book Day, our Kickstarter for The Problem with Poppy ended. Our target was £2,500 and we achieved a grand total of £2,828. This means that we now have the funds to make this wonderful book a reality! Our illustrator Wander Len will commence work on the illustrations shortly, and we envisage the final book being ready to print by May this year.

Many thanks to all the companies and individuals that have shown their support and their belief in this book. Special thanks to our partners, Rainforest Trust UK, who we will be donating £1 per book sale to, and our official sponsor, The Happy Learning Company, who invested heavily in the book and really gave us a huge boost towards our total. Thanks also to Franklyn Financial Management, Mossley C of E Primary School and Marfields Primary Academy among others for being ‘Conservation Heroes’ and pledging generously to save the rainforest. In total, our Kickstarter has saved an incredible 360 acres!

Although the book won’t be out until May, we have set up a pre-order page for you to secure a copy or copies of the book today.
